Sandolin Liadon is youngest of five children of the house of Liadon. He has three older sisters and one older brother. All of his siblings are married and have started their own families. House Liadon is a reputable house of the arcane arts, even for such a minor noble family. The arcane arts never held much interest for Sandolin. As a result, wanderlust hit him at the age of 80, a very young age indeed for an elf to feel such tendencies. He has spent the last 30 years of his life mostly as a juvenile delinquent. Having shunned the arcane arts, he found himself having to sneak out to fulfill his personal desires to explore. He has developed some skill in going someplace and escaping notice. Over the years, the town watch has had to bring him home many times – sometimes in chains. Of course, sometimes they put him in chains to bring him home, but he hands the chains to the stunned watchmen who bring him home. The adventures have never been malicious in nature, just provide a sense of fullfilment for his wandering mind. Finally, his parents have deemed him worthy of being on his own, or quite possibly they have gotten tired of his antics. They gave him a modest stipend and encouraged him to do what he needs to do to get the wanderlust out of his system before he comes home and rejoins the family. Member of House Red.
========== Session 1 ==========
Received a stipend from family to help start adventures in life. Joined up with other friends in similar situations and we set out to look for adventure. We hear rumors that the Tigosh Trading Company had been hit hard by bandit raids on the roads north of town. We were contracted by them to determine the source of the raids and recover as much lost property as we could. We were told we would get 20% of the value of whatever goods we recovered. We set out on the road north of town and we ran into several Kobolds. We dispatched them and continued north. We eventually came across the ambush spot that was being used to waylay travellers. The group of kobolds also had a few orcs with them. We managed to eliminate the Kobolds and all but one of the orcs. We destroyed the ballistas used to ambush the travellers. We recovered 10 crates of goods marked with the Tigosh Trading Company logo. We loaded the crates and set out to go back to town to return the stolen goods. * XP Awarded: 750
========== Session 2 ==========
We returned to Edravil with the stolen goods. We went to the Tigosh Trading Company and spoke with the proprietor and he informed us that the person we made the deal with was no longer there. After some effective negotiations, we were able to get 35% of the value for the return of the goods instead of our original 20% agreement. We discovered an artisan who was in need of an escort to Stalag. She was afraid to travel by herself due to the recent troubles on the road north to Stalag. She retained our services as escort and we proceeded to head to Stalag. As we continued north beyond the kobold ambush point, the air began to be filled with a green haze. Within the haze we encountered several undead – skeletons and ghouls. We were able to eliminate the foes without too much difficulty. We came across Lt. Garthag, a messenger from Stalag, while he was being attacked by ghouls. He was in a petrified state and his horse was being eaten alive by the ghouls. We rescued him and returned him to Stalag. This rescue earned us a meeting with Commander Foley of the Stalag militia. Commander Foley informed us that there was a lot of undead activity occuring in recent months in the area around Stalag. Dead people would be in the morgue one day and just get up and walk out as undead. Commander Foley gave us the task of investigating a new graveyard that showed up outside of town. We encountered and eliminated several undead along the way. We reached the fresh graveyard and prepared to start our investigation. XP Awarded: 900
========== Session 3 ==========
We started out in the new graveyard we were sent to investigate. We overheard a meeting between a necromancer and a hound archon. We know that the hound archon is above the necromancer, but is not in charge. The necromancer summoned a crap load of undead. We found a metal object buried in the ground and making grinding noises. We disabled the metal object and this caused the undead creatures to become weak and we destroyed them. We dug up the metal object and inspected the graves further finding cracked black pearls in each. We went back to town. We researched the metal object and discovered draconic runes and evidence of negative material plane influence on the object. The rogue made contact with the rogue's guild in Stalag. The guild in Stalog is run by the military intelligence unit of the city. He used his contact within the guild to get the metal object and research information into the hands of the second in command of the keep. We informed them of our theory that the new graves were linked to the pearls and the metal device we found at the last gravesite. We were tasked with going to prove our theory on the graves. On the way, we ran into a group of undead and killed them. XP Awarded: 650
========== Session 4 ==========
We found the next graveyard without trouble. The rogue went into the graveyard and determined the location of the buried device in the graveyard. We began attacking the device and a group of 20 skeletons attacked. We dispatched them. We discovered a magic sword, chain shirt and full plate amongst the skeletal remains. We returned to Stalag and had the items identified by a crazy hermit in a wasted section of the city. We were then sent out to rendezvous with Capt. Mulvaney and inform him of our findings. On the way, we came across some undead owl bears and destroyed them. We scouted a very large army of undead beseiging a group of humans in a cave. The army of undead had the necromancer in charge of them. He was in a circle of runes casting control spells. Just before the skeletons attacked the beseiged humans, we snuck into the camp under an invisibility spell and made our way to the necromancer. The rogue disarmed the alarm rune, but was blasted by the electrical shock rune he'd overlooked. The wizard blasted the necromancer from behind with shocking grasp and the ranger put 2 arrows into the necromancers head, killing him instantly. The undead army began to break up. We sprinted to the caves and holed up with the beseiged humans as they began eliminating the remaining uncontrolled undead. We acquired a ring, bracers and scroll case from the dead necromancer. We made our way back to Stalag and were given a reward of 1000gp each for our efforts. XP Awarded 1500
========== Session 5 ==========
The rogue was away from the remainder of the group for 3 months. During this time, he acquired some new equipment and practiced his thievery skills. During this time he was informed his 'skills' were not welcome to be practiced in the city of Stalog. He rejoined the cleric that had been spending the last 3 months scribing scrolls and headed off to Greiss to rejoin the rest of the group. The group was attempting to investigate and reopen an abandoned mithril mine. The cleric is a member of House Blue (house that owns the mine) and was able to convince the mayor to give us access to the mine to investigate and reopen the mine. The entrance to the mine had been blasted open. There were several sets of footprints that ended in a wall. No secret passageway was found even after thorough investigation. As we decended into the mines, the tunnels were more and more infested with large spiders. The party dispatched the spiders as we encountered them. We found a giant spider on one of the lowest levels. We killed the spider and upon further examination determined that the spider was definitely an unnatural creation. On the last level of the mine, we discovered that the mithril veins were still very rich. There is an opening on this level into a vast cavern. We decided to investigate the caverns later and we spent the next week mining 270lbs worth of mithril. XP Awarded 750

The party buried the mithril in a cave north of Edraville. We followed a vision the cleric had to Stalog. Along the way, we encountered a group of giant centipedes. We arrived at Stalog and investigated, but found no credence to the vision. We continued north and encountered a group of ogres and owlbears. We were able to kill them. We came across a ruined chapel and stopped for the night. XP Awarded 750 *
